Fridge Types Descriptions Fridges freezer at top Fridge freezers with a freezer at the top are popular choices in kitchens where height is not restricted but floor space is. The top freezer compartment tends to be between 25% and 50% the volume of the fridge compartment. Typically five to six feet in height, fridges with a top freezer sometimes have independent controls for fridge and freezer compartment and sometimes only have one control in the fridge. Look for a fridge freezer with separate controls, if possible, to ensure you can set an optimum temperature for both compartments.
Integrated fridges have a front panel that matches the cupboard doors of a kitchen and are installed under a worktop or in the position of a built-in cupboard.
